It's not often you come across these elderly ladies anymore and frankly this one stopped me in my tracks! Exquisite tiny soutache detail in the floral work, hand-painted gold spots and simple classic 1920s silhouette. One small repair near left sleeve and at some stage a little green paint has been added to the button, perhaps the gold dots were added at a later date to the coat! Can be worn open for fit on larger size. Excellent condition aside from the repair mentioned above—see close up—and a few very minor tonal shifts in the silk from wear.
