1940s Beaded Drape Dress
Drop dead gorgeous beaded rayon 1940s dress in a lovely creamy mustard tone. The scalloping of the beaded design is just wonderful! A few loose areas of beading but overall in nice condition here, hook at the collar forming a keyhole neckline. The hip drape creates a wrap style skirt which is open below the gathering. Side zipper to secure, made by Chicago based designer Fred Block. Overall the dress is a stunner, some blush tone fade appears in a linear fashion near the waist area which is visible when you are inspecting the dress, once worn these are are not particularly noticeable and do not distract from the overall impact of this great dress. A little loose beading as mentioned and a small pull/fray near the collar. Please email all queries regarding these condition issues prior to purchase.
