Egyptian Scene Beaded Purse / 1920s

Just love this beaded purse made during the Egyptian-crazed 1920s era! Perhaps homemade as the beading is very slightly "awkward" but in my opinion makes it quite charming! Snaps to secure, silky interior. Sturdy metallic thread braided on the trim of the opening. The scene includes the Nile, pyramid and palm trees, both sides are beaded. Great collector piece and one that has been in my personal collection for a few years now.

condition: overall good for the antiquity with a few missing beads on the fringe and a small area of loose stitching near the strap connection to purse itself. As found.
