Red Flowers Oil Painting / c.1950s-60s

I actually fell for this little oil painting because I put it up to the light and the missing paint chips make the sun shine right through it! Looks wonderful on a window ledge for this very reason. Nice texture to the oil paint and even with the damage is a charming piece, just adds to the lovely patina in my opinion. Estimating mid-century for this. Signed, possibly A. Simon, a little hard to read.
