The 2nd painting I have had of this exact location & scene in Capri, and a beauty! Lovely handwriting on the back with "looking Eastward to the sea"by Signorina Ferraro in 1932, there is also an inscription to Harvey Fritz, from E.R.V. Beautiful small-scale oil painting, very nicely framed with excellent brushwork, and I do love a column.... Great colors. Painted on a thick cardboard, overall a light piece and ready to hang.
