Lillian Wilhelm Smith (1882-1971) was a German-born American artist. She trained at the National Academy of Design, the Art Students League, Columbia University, and the Leonia School of Art in New Jersey. She began her career as a commercial illustrator in New York before establishing her fine art practice in Arizona. Her skills included oil painting, watercolor, and ceramics.
