Birdie Topped Velvet Beret / 1950s

Probably one of my favorite found hats of all time! Charming deep blue velvet 1950s beret style with an unexpected (and adorable!) gold buillon, rhinestone & feathered birdie! When worn the bird can't really be seen unless the beret is pulled down or forward, sits towards the rear of the crown so perfectly. Bonwit Teller label and very nicely mad. The edge is firm so the beret sits well on the head once positioned.
