Monarch Wing Vase

I have kept this vase for a number of years now. I just love it so. Wonderful, weighty and bulbous glass vase with stunning monarch butterfly wing effect. The opening rim is flat which makes me wonder if it ever had a matching lid or detail to seal. Perfect for flowers though catches the light perfectly all by itself. Beautiful, no obvious era of production but estimating post 1970s.
