Fairly sure that this is what is meant by "riot of color". Absolutely gorgeous signed oil on board painting of peonies in a bulbous glass vase. A little fern-like greenery dotted throughout. This painting is fabulous up close with great oil texture and detail. Striking and vivid from afar. Simple gold-painted wooden frame. Lightweight piece overall, would fit in well on a gallery wall. Signed M. Labardnin and what looks like "Haynam" but that name is difficult to read. dated 1922.

condition: some craquelure to the surface of the paint. a little gold paint loss on the frame.
