Wonderful fairly large bright pastel portrait of Anna Chalfin of Greenwich Village, NYC 1930's, according to an etched inscription on the back. The colors & hairstyle really are beautiful, sturdy frame. Great addition to a portrait gallery or collectors of clothing/history from this period. I was unable to find any reference to Ms Chalfin online. 

condition: very good. Small missing piece of paper on the right side from the frame staple pushing against the work.
